Rocket Lab Launch Complex 1 is a commercial spaceport on the southern tip of Mahia Peninsula. In 2018 we managed earthworks for the launch facility buildings, launch pad, and rocket runway. Our staff were also in charge of the planning and execution of fibre optic cable installation, security, drainage, three waters, and firefighting water. CPS also oversaw the 5km extension of Mahia East Coast Rd to the spaceport.
